My experience was rather dull until one night around the fire we all exchanged ghost stories. There was a tale that back in the 50's one of the counselors kids ended up drowning in the lake and their mother took revenge. It wasn't a great story. Honestly though by the next morning, sparing all the details, I had finally escaped. Escaped what you ask? All the gosh darn fun! Go check it out yourself...
This is not the "camp crystal lake" that the Friday where the 13th movie was filmed. It was filmed at camp no-be-bo-sco which is closed to the public as it is a Boy Scout camp that does not permit visitors.

Crystal lake is absolutely beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful and the accommodations while not fancy fit right into the rustic cabin by the lake atmosphere. In the winter the snow on the hemlocks makes it into a winter wonderland.
Great camp my child loved it and can’t wait to go again.
